When You Suspect Dyslexia and Need Clear Next Steps
You’ve noticed the signs.
Your child is bright — but reading feels harder than it should.
Spelling is inconsistent.
Homework ends in frustration.
Confidence is slipping.
You don’t want to wait years.
You don’t want to guess.
And you don’t want to get this wrong.
You need clarity.
Introducing Dysora™
Dysora™ is a structured dyslexia pre-screening and action pathway for Australian families navigating the early stages of literacy difficulty.
It is not a diagnosis.
It is the step most families never get — clear direction during the in-between stage.
The stage where:
-
You suspect something.
-
Formal assessment feels far away.
-
Schools may say, “let’s wait and see.”
-
And you are left holding the worry.
Dysora™ replaces uncertainty with structure.
What Dysora™ Gives You
1. A Guided Dyslexia Screening (Primary Ages)
A structured, parent-led screening tool that helps identify patterns consistent with dyslexia and related literacy difficulties.
You’ll receive:
-
Clear results
-
Plain language explanation
-
Immediate next-step guidance
No jargon.
No confusion.
No overdiagnosis.
2. Your structured pathway — from first suspicion to full support"
Dysora™ is not just a screener.
It is a guided roadmap that walks you through the next 6 months with clarity and confidence.
Stage 1 — Understand Your Child's Result
What dyslexia is and isn't, how it affects learning, and how to start tracking progress from day one.
Stage 2 — Begin Targeted Intervention
Choose the right programs, understand multisensory learning, explore funding options, and handle resistance.
Stage 3 — Work With the School
Know your child's legal rights, use our advocacy scripts, and ensure adjustments are actually implemented.
Stage 4 — Monitor and Adjust
Track realistic progress over 6 months, know when to increase intensity, and understand why progress is rarely linear.
Stage 5 — Prepare for Formal Assessment
Know when the time is right, how to choose a provider, and how to use the report to unlock real support.
This is the structure most families try to piece together alone. Now it's in one place. Ready to go the moment you complete your screening.
Dysora was built by a parent who's lived every stage of this journey
I'm Bernadette — A dyslexic entrepreneur, advocate, and mum of a son with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and ADHD.
I spotted the signs in my son before he turned four and started intervention straight away. By the time he was seven, he was officially identified, but we already had a plan and had been working it for years.
Today he's in high school, performing above average, and fiercely proud of his differences. That didn't happen by accident. It happened because I acted early and never stopped.
I know what it feels like to sit in that in-between space — suspecting something, getting little direction, and carrying the worry alone. I also know what early action can change, because I've watched it change everything for my son and many families through my dyslexia advocacy.
DYSORA™ was built because that structured pathway didn't exist for Australian families. It does now.
I have developed DYSORA™ in alignment with the Australian literacy and intervention framework. The same framework that underpins how schools, specialists and psychologists approach early identification in this country. The screening draws on internationally recognised best-practice tools, adapted to reflect the Australian diagnosis pathway where targeted intervention comes before formal assessment.
My goal is simple — to ensure no Australian child is left behind because their family didn't know where to start.

Why Early Action Matters
In Australia, formal diagnosis typically follows a period of targeted intervention.
Without early clarity, families can spend months, sometimes years, navigating uncertainty before structured support begins.
Dysora™ helps you use that time productively.
Early identification does not label a child.
It supports them.
